I’ve been ignoring this blog, and it’s a terrible shame because it’s so new. It’s got me frustrated because my words seem to bleed off the page, and I haven’t quite yet figured out how to fix that. So here I am, writing a post, and I feel less than inspired. Last month on a whim I submitted a poem to “poetry.com” and today I got a response in the mail saying my poem had made it to the semi-final round in their monthly poetry contest…haven’t figured out if it’s just a ploy to get me to buy some crazy “who’s who” type book or if they genuinely like my work. I think I’d had a few cocktails when I did that… I generally don’t go around submitting poetry online.
I recently purhcased a beautiful new camera, a Canon 30D which is a lovely, lovely, lovely digital SLR. I’m attempting to get a photography business going, but so far the only person that’s responded to my ad on Craigslist is some dude who wants me to take naked photos of him which, quite frankly, i do NOT want to do. So that’s where that stands.
Seeing as it’s about time for me to eat dinner and pass out, I’ll leave you with some photos.
